Communications archiving and supervision for SEC and FINRA regulated firms
Alpharetta, GA, USVenture-backedarchiveintel.comNot yet confirmed by the company
Archive Intel makes communications archiving and supervision software for RIAs, broker-dealers and wealth management firms that must keep records under SEC and FINRA rules. It was founded by fintech entrepreneur Larry Shumbres, is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, and lists $8.8M raised, including a $6.3M Series A in October 2025 led by Gray Line Partners.
The platform captures business texts sent from advisors' own phones through iMessage, WhatsApp and Android SMS, using contact-level whitelisting so personal threads stay out of the archive. It also records LinkedIn messages, posts, comments and profile changes through LinkedIn's compliance partner API, along with email, chat apps such as Slack and Teams, social media, Zoom, websites and YouTube video. An AI model reviews messages in light of recordkeeping rules, and compliance staff work escalations and random samples. Records are stored in write-once format for search, reports and exam production. A marketing review add-on checks content under SEC Rule 206(4)-1 and FINRA Rule 2210.
Pricing is published: a $99 monthly platform fee, $12 per user per month for each connector, and $40 per user per month for text archiving, with 1TB of storage included. Marketing review starts at $500 per month. Integrations include Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Zocks notetaker.
