What it does

Saifr makes AI compliance software for financial services firms, including separate versions of its marketing review product for banks and insurers. The company started inside Fidelity Labs, the software incubator at Fidelity Investments.

SaifrReview scans text, images and video transcripts in marketing drafts and flags promissory or misleading wording, performance and ranking claims, testimonials and similar risks under FINRA Rule 2210, SEC Rule 482 and the SEC marketing rule. For each flag it explains the issue, proposes alternative wording and suggests disclosures, and it also scores readability and sentiment. Firms can use it through a shared review workflow, add-ins that run while content is being written, document upload or an API. SaifrScreen searches public data for adverse media and sanctions hits on people and entities, and Saifr eComms reviews email, instant messages, social media and mobile messages for conduct risk, with the aim of cutting false positives.

Saifr's compliance models are available in the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry catalog and as integrations with Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing, ServiceNow Financial Services Operations and Superhuman, the former Grammarly. It lists offices in Boston, New York, Westlake in Texas, Dublin, Chennai and Bangalore. Licenses are sold per user or as enterprise agreements.
