SuranceBay makes SureLC, a software platform that handles producer licensing, carrier contracting and compliance checks for life insurance and annuity distribution. It sells to insurance carriers, general agencies such as IMOs, FMOs and BGAs, individual producers and third-party administrators.

In SureLC, a producer fills out one profile, and the system maps that data onto each carrier's contracting forms, applying the carrier's own rules so submissions arrive complete. The software tracks state licenses and expiration dates, handles resident and non-resident renewals, follows continuing-education and product-training status, and checks FINRA registration. Carriers can add Onboard, a review workflow with rules-based alerts and background screening; DataLink, a direct feed of contracting data into carrier systems; Can-Sell, which checks a producer's compliance when new business is submitted; and Compliance+, which manages state appointments and terminations. The platform supports electronic signatures and per-carrier agency hierarchies.

The company was founded in 2009 and released SureLC in January 2010. It is based in Boca Raton, Florida. Its site now describes SuranceBay as part of Verisk. The company says more than 700,000 producers have used the platform and that it supports contracting forms for more than 750 carriers. Pricing is not published.
