Visionary Square will pay FINNY AI subscriptions for more than 250 advisors

The hybrid RIA will cover the $50-a-month platform fee for partner-firm advisors; FINNY also takes a small share of the assets won through the platform.

At a glance

25-second brief
  • Visionary Square will pay for FINNY AI subscriptions for the more than 250 advisors at its 140 partner firms, giving them unlimited use of the prospecting platform at no cost to their own practices.

  • The subsidy lands after FINNY moved to outcome-based pricing: $50 a month for unlimited platform access, plus a small share of the assets advisors bring in through FINNY.

  • At $50 a seat, the partner-firm subscriptions would run at least $12,500 a month, or $150,000 a year.

Visionary Square will pay for FINNY AI subscriptions for the more than 250 advisors at its 140 partner firms, giving them unlimited use of the prospecting platform at no cost to their own practices. InvestmentNews first reported the agreement.

The subsidy lands after FINNY moved to outcome-based pricing: $50 a month for unlimited platform access, plus a small share of the assets advisors bring in through FINNY. That share is paid only while those clients stay with the advisor. Robert Russo, Visionary Square's chief executive, described the subsidy as a way to remove a barrier to adoption.

"By covering FINNY's subscription cost, we're making it easier for our partner firms to put this powerful technology to work, find new opportunities and build meaningful client relationships," Russo said. Eden Ovadia, co-founder and chief executive of FINNY, framed the product around the same gap: "Independent advisors should be able to grow without needing a full marketing team, or needing to learn cumbersome new systems."

FINNY matches advisors with prospects using three inputs: the niches an advisor serves, how closely a prospect resembles the advisor's existing clients, and money-in-motion signals. A proprietary F-Score ranks each prospect by likely fit, and personalized outreach tools are meant to turn those matches into conversations.

At $50 a seat, the partner-firm subscriptions would run at least $12,500 a month, or $150,000 a year. FINNY has also pushed upmarket, launching an enterprise growth platform earlier this year with Mercer Advisors as its flagship user.
