Integrated Partners Hires Team, Debuts SIGIL Family Office
A $25bn RIA has launched a virtual family office for ultra-rich business owners and families.
Family Wealth Report reports that Integrated Partners, an RIA with more than $25 billion in assets under advisement, has hired Kyle Caouette, John de Carvalho, and their team.
The group has started SIGIL Family Office, described as a consultative virtual family office focused on ultra-high net worth business owners and families. The team previously worked at Parallel Advisors, according to the report.
Before that, Caouette co-founded and helped scale Parcion Private Wealth to more than $2 billion in assets, Family Wealth Report says. De Carvalho was chief investment officer at Parcion. Caouette said the new office lets the team build the boutique virtual family office that business owners and successful families want.
SIGIL gives Integrated a dedicated family office practice for ultra-wealthy clients, a segment that often demands broader services than standard wealth management. The virtual format likely keeps operating costs below a traditional family office, a consideration for business owners weighing a standalone office.
The hire also shows how RIA platforms can attract experienced family-office talent by offering infrastructure without independence. Whether this model proves durable depends on how much autonomy the team retains.
Caouette has built a family-office practice before. He co-founded Parcion Private Wealth and scaled it to $2 billion, working alongside de Carvalho as CIO. The pair now runs a new practice inside Integrated, a structure that suggests they retain meaningful operating independence.
The 'consultative' label hints the service will be lighter than a full multi-family office, leaning on Integrated for custody, compliance, and back office. That could appeal to business owners who want family office service without institutional-scale infrastructure.
Expect SIGIL to hire additional staff and onboard clients over the next year. Whether Integrated will launch similar virtual family offices under other brands is unconfirmed.
