Apogem Raises $385M for Senior Direct Lending Fund

The pooled investment vehicle's Form D shows continued demand for private credit.

Apogem Senior Direct Lending Fund LP has sold $385 million to date, according to a Form D filed with the SEC on Aug. 14. The pooled investment fund is classified as an 'other investment fund' and reported a first sale date of July 31. The filing lists the fund's GP, Apogem Senior Direct Lending Fund GP, LLC, along with John Grady, Robert Douglass, and Ashish Shah.

Why it matters

The $385 million raise adds to the steady stream of capital flowing into senior direct lending strategies, as allocators continue seeking yield in private credit. With the total offering amount undisclosed, the fund may still be open to further commitments, though that remains unconfirmed.
