Prospera Financial Services added Cornerstone Wealth Management, a Rochester, New York, practice with eight advisors and $600 million in assets under management, InvestmentNews reported Nov. 5.

Cornerstone focuses on retirement planning, estate strategies, risk management and multigenerational wealth.

The addition brings Prospera to more than 240 independent advisors overseeing more than $32 billion in client assets. Cornerstone accounts for about 3% of the advisor count and under 2% of the assets.

The practice's advisors have nearly 75 years of combined experience.
