Omnes Capital invests in Heim's Nordic data center platform

Three listed campuses total 180MW in first phases and scale to 580MW by 2030, with first projects in Finland.

  3. West Sweden starts at 30MW and rises to 300MW by 2029 across 200,000 sqm.

Omnes Capital, a €6.7 billion European infrastructure and private equity investor, invested in Heim Datacenter to fund the Nordic developer's first projects in Finland. The companies did not disclose the size of the investment.

The investment is led by Omnes Capital's digital infrastructure team through the CEP2 fund. Omnes said the capital will support "continued development of Heim's team and organization." The partnership was announced earlier this month, as Private Infrastructure Daily previously reported.

Heim's three listed campuses total 180MW in first phases and 580MW at full build. West Sweden starts at 30MW and rises to 300MW by 2029 across 200,000 sqm. West Finland starts at 100MW and reaches 130MW by 2028 across 100,000 sqm. A Finnish capital-area campus starts at 50MW and reaches 150MW by 2030 across 140,000 sqm.

Allocators underwriting the platform can compare the dated capacity steps to construction milestones. The first expansion is due in 2028.

Heim launched earlier this year and is led by two former Green Mountain chief executives. Kristian Gyland ran Green Mountain from 2017 to 2023. Svein Atle Hagaseth held the same role from 2023 to 2026 and is Heim's co-founder and chief executive. Heim plans to start in Finland and expand across the Nordics and wider Europe.
