Alto launches private deal room for RIAs; CAZ funds land on SoFi
Platform launches expand RIA and retirement access to private markets.
WealthManagement.com reported that Alto, a Nashville-based marketplace and custodian, launched Alto Private Deal Room, an end-to-end platform for RIAs to execute self- and client-sourced private market deals. The platform lets advisor clients use qualified retirement assets to fund private investments, with Alto managing custody and transactions. In the same roundup, SEI and WTW Investments expanded their partnership to build private market solutions for 401(k) and defined-contribution plans, with WTW handling research and due diligence and SEI Trust Company supporting CIT structures. CAZ Investments also placed two funds on SoFi Invest, with CAZ's Christopher Zook citing 2025 regulatory changes that broadened access. Additionally, Diald raised additional seed capital, per WealthManagement.com.
These developments reflect a push to widen RIA and retirement access to private markets. Alto's deal room ties private deals to retirement accounts, while the SEI-WTW collaboration targets defined-contribution wrappers. CAZ's move onto SoFi signals that regulatory shifts are opening previously exclusive funds to retail investors.
