What it does

Wavvest is a Chicago software company building an AI-based operating platform for independent wealth managers. It licenses the platform to outside RIAs and also runs its own advisory firm, Wavvest Wealth, which launched in 2026 and uses the same technology.

The product started with financial planning at its core and is being extended with CRM-style relationship tools and portfolio accounting, with separate logins for advisors and their clients. Wavvest builds most of the stack itself and uses third-party large language models for some features. A partnership with Apex Fintech extends its planning tools to clients custodied at Apex.

Wavvest was founded in 2024 by Brendan King (CEO) and Sinon Bennett. WealthManagement.com reported a $2.7 million pre-seed round led by Fenway Summer, with a seed round planned. Pricing is not published.
