AI-driven data aggregation, reporting and analysis platform for family offices, advisors and banks
Vancouver, BC, CAFounded 2021Venture-backedmyfotech.com
MYFO is a Canadian software platform for family offices, with versions for RIAs and banks that serve wealthy families. It aims to replace analyst work spent gathering and reconciling financial data across custodians, entities and asset classes.
The platform aggregates accounts from a large set of banks, brokerages and private fund sources, ingests documents forwarded by email, and uses AI to extract capital accounts and holdings from LP statements and check them against recorded capital calls and distributions, flagging mismatches for review. Users get consolidated reporting across public and private holdings, scenario modelling (such as simulating the sale of a stake), benchmarking, cash-flow forecasting and an audit trail.
MYFO (First Democracy Technology Inc.) was founded in 2021 in Vancouver by CEO Simran Kang. In 2024 it raised a US$3.5 million seed round led by Rhino Ventures, with Metalab Ventures and family offices taking part; it sells on subscription and says it is SOC 2 compliant.
