Dynamic Advisor Solutions

Dynamic Advisor Solutions provides outsourced operations, compliance, technology and investment management to independent wealth advisors. It works with RIA owners, investment adviser representatives who join its own RIA, and advisors leaving wirehouses or broker-dealers, and it also sells a TAMP to RIAs that do not affiliate with it. The firm was founded in 2009 by Jim Cannon, operates as Dynamic Wealth Advisors and is based in Phoenix.

Its operations staff open accounts, prepare documents, bill advisory fees, produce client performance reports, aggregate account data and manage custodian relationships. A compliance team maintains client contracts, updates Form ADV, runs testing and keeps books and records. Wealth360, its technology platform, puts CRM, secure email and archiving, digital onboarding, a client portal, financial planning and portfolio management behind a single sign-on. A concierge service handles scheduling and other administrative work for advisors.

Portfolio360, the TAMP, gives outside RIAs access to the firm's model portfolios through an advisor portal without adopting the rest of the platform. Strategies include passive and factor-based ETF models, income, defensive and tax-aware portfolios, and custom high-net-worth accounts with a $2M minimum per client. The asset management team also handles rebalancing, trading and retirement-plan administration.
