Accounts payable and bill pay automation, with a program for family offices and wealth firms
San Jose, CA, USFounded 2006Public (BILL)bill.com
BILL is a U.S. financial operations platform for accounts payable, receivables and spend management. Alongside its small and midsize business base, it markets a bill pay offering to single-family offices, multi-family offices, RIAs, wealth management firms and the accounting firms that run household payments for wealthy clients.
The software takes in invoices, routes them through approval workflows, pays vendors by ACH, check, virtual card or international wire, and syncs with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics. Firms can run many entities from one login, and an accountant console lets advisors manage bill pay across multiple clients. Separate spend and expense tools add corporate cards and budgets.
BILL was founded in 2006, is headquartered in San Jose, California, and listed on the NYSE in 2019. AP and AR plans start at $49 per user per month, with per-transaction fees for some payment types.
