XYPN opened a national search for its next president on Oct. 16, with current president Vince Hockett planning to retire in spring 2027. Hockett joined the Bozeman, Mont.-based network for fee-only financial planners in March 2020.

XYPN said the network grew from about 1,172 advisors when Hockett joined in March 2020 to 2,401 advisors today, a gain of more than 100%. Those advisors serve more than 100,000 clients, according to the release.

More than two-thirds of the network's members have moved past the launch stage, XYPN said. The company also runs Sapphire, an integrated RIA affiliation platform it says supports more than $1 billion in assets, 52 advisors and more than 800 client households.

Emerald, XYPN's monthly membership platform for independent RIAs, has added vendor benefits such as Income Lab and Jump in recent months, per this publication's reporting. XYPN also said 110 new firms working toward RIA registration are with its compliance team, up from 60 firms a year earlier.

"Vince guided XYPN through a period of extraordinary growth, and positioned us to support a Network that has more than doubled in size," said Alan Moore, XYPN's co-founder and CEO.

The release credits Hockett with recruiting, promoting and developing executive and next-level leaders, and says XYPN earned Top Workplace recognition in multiple consecutive years. Moore remains co-founder and CEO; the announcement does not describe how the next president's responsibilities will divide against his, and it does not list search criteria, compensation or a target date for a hire.

"Vince guided XYPN through a period of extraordinary growth, and positioned us to support a Network that has more than doubled in size," said Alan Moore, XYPN's co-founder and CEO.
