Total equity raised since March 2026 now exceeds €1 billion ($1.1bn).
SWI was formed from the merger of Stoneweg and Icona Capital last year and reports about €11 billion ($12.27bn) in assets under management. It announced last year that it was launching its own data center fund and platform, taking a stake in AiOnX, which has projects in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
Genesis Digital Assets is to anchor the US platform
The firm has also acquired a majority stake in the cryptominer Genesis Digital Assets, which operates 15 crypto data centers in the US and Sweden totaling 1.3GW.
The acquired company is to be renamed SWI Digital and form the basis of SWI's US data center platform, while the Stoneweg Europe Stapled Trust is looking at potentially redeveloping around ten industrial sites across four European countries for data center use.
The raise is equity at the listed-company level rather than project-level debt attached to individual sites. SWI lists power infrastructure explicitly among the uses of proceeds.
The company also says it aims to develop its own HPC and GPU-as-a-service platform.
