According to our records, which we have not independently confirmed, Praxis Financial Partners, an Alpharetta, Ga., practice with four principals and about $1.1 billion in assets, moved to LPL Financial from Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. The transition is dated Oct. 6, 2026.
The principals are Scott Christian, Cecil Loyd, Jay Gentry and Matt Dion. The practice lists 10 people, which works out to roughly $110 million of assets per person. Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, or FiNet, is the only prior firm our records show for the team.
LPL's other reported additions, from Northwestern Mutual

Cornerstone Advisors, led by financial advisors Gardner Brown and Brian Lifferth, and Clear Pointe Wealth Management, led by advisors Ron Hunt and Jonathan Groberg, joined LPL's broker/dealer, registered investment advisor and custodial platforms. The two practices share a decades-long relationship and will operate from a shared office while maintaining distinct business identities, according to LPL.
