Osaic said Tuesday that ICG next, a Wall Township, New Jersey firm with about $2.3 billion in client assets, joined its advisory network from LPL Financial. The firm, which also has a Melville, New York office, will keep its own brand, an Osaic spokesperson told Wealth Solutions Report.

ICG next runs roughly 21 financial advisors under Managing Partner James A. Costabile. The firm has almost tripled in size since 2019 and plans to keep expanding through organic growth, advisor recruiting and acquisitions, mainly along the East Coast in the New York and New Jersey area, according to the announcement.

For advisors comparing the two platforms, the disclosed terms are about autonomy and access rather than price. Costabile cited "our conversations with Osaic's leadership," the direction of the organization and "its commitment to helping firms grow" as the basis for the move, and described wanting "the scale and support to reach our strategic objectives."

Shannon Reid, Osaic's president and head of advisor growth and engagement, told WSR the firm does "not measure success by the number of firms we add" and said its strategy is broader than recruiting or acquisitions, with an emphasis continuing into 2027 on sustainable organic growth and the advisor experience.
