Isher Capital, Reuben Singh's family office, has acquired Confero, a London contact centre operator serving banks and other financial services businesses, and committed £5 million to its growth, Family Office Hub reported.
The acquisition was made through subsidiary Isher Capital Liberate Ltd.
Confero is the fifth company added to Isher's UK outsourcing group in its current acquisition programme, after CC33, FM Outsource, AnsaCom and TCH. It runs inbound, outbound and digital customer service and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Clients include electric vehicle charging company Pod Point. Director David Freedman, who stays on, said the deal gives Confero resources for its next stage while keeping client relationships close.
For family offices buying regulated contact centres, the FCA authorisation and conduct obligations transfer with the asset. Isher says it manages and operates 37 companies, with a stated focus on business process outsourcing and contact centres.
