Corebridge quarterly net income hits $1.44B as Equitable merger continues

The figure is roughly ten times the $144 million reported a year earlier, AM Best News said.

$1.44BCorebridge third-quarter net income available to shareholders

Corebridge Financial reported third-quarter net income available to shareholders of $1.44 billion, AM Best News reported on Nov. 3.

That is roughly ten times the $144 million the company booked a year earlier.

Corebridge's planned merger with Equitable continues, AM Best News said.

For advisors tracking insurer capital, a repeatable increase in shareholder earnings would enlarge the earnings pool that supports dividends and alter capital-return expectations heading into the Equitable combination.
