A 17-year coaching relationship

Burt White, Carson Group's chief executive, said the firm's relationship with the Foran team goes back 17 years through its coaching business. InvestmentNews reports that Carson leadership pointed to that relationship as part of the appeal.

The practice is a father-and-son operation. Daniel Foran and John Foran are managing partners and wealth advisors at the firm; John Foran represents the second generation. Michael Belluomini, Carson's senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions, pointed to that transition as central to the firm's interest. InvestmentNews describes Carson's 2026 pattern as targeting established practices where succession groundwork has already been laid.

The Forans have taught retirement planning courses at Raritan Valley Community College for the past 14 years, and Dan Foran has guest lectured at the Rutgers University School of Business.

Operations manager Jennifer Roberto and senior relationship and operations manager Diane Zychlinski, with roughly 25 and 20 years at the firm respectively, remain in place.
