Osaic recruited Michael Biggs from Equitable Advisors with $245 million in AUM, our tracking shows.

Merit Financial Advisors bought Moldenhauer & Associates, a $1.1 billion Buffalo-area RIA, its 10th ex-Commonwealth practice and 12th acquisition this year, closing Sept. 25.

Merit's acquired practice brings nearly 1,900 households and 12 employees.

Cetera recruited Cynthia Doussard, a 24-year Commonwealth advisor, with about $235 million in assets under administration.
