- The deal adds utility-scale batteries to a Polish renewables platform the company launched less than three months earlier, IPE Real Assets reported.
- Kozienice is the 112MW/518MWh asset and Trzebinia is the 132MW/623MWh one, both described as four-hour-plus duration.
- A 17-year inflation-indexed capacity market agreement covers both assets; Actis calls it a secured revenue base.
Actis announced it is acquiring two battery energy storage projects in Poland from DRI, totaling 244MW of power capacity and 1,141MWh of storage. The deal adds utility-scale batteries to a Polish renewables platform the company launched less than three months earlier, IPE Real Assets reported.
The two projects are at different completion stages: Kozienice is acquired and construction-ready; Trzebinia is signed and will complete once operational. Kozienice is the 112MW/518MWh asset and Trzebinia is the 132MW/623MWh one, both described as four-hour-plus duration.
A 17-year inflation-indexed capacity market agreement covers both assets; Actis calls it a secured revenue base.
The storage purchases follow Actis' July 2026 acquisition of Klara Renewables, a 171MW onshore wind portfolio with about 275MW of hybridisation potential. PID reported in August that the wind base was bought to seed a 1.5GW regional platform. Actis says the combined system-level portfolio is intended to mitigate volatility and increase Poland's grid flexibility.
The announcement describes the two projects as among the first utility-scale batteries to reach commercial operation in Poland.
