Accelerated Wealth Partners agreed on Nov. 2 to invest in Pallas Capital Advisors, a Braintree, Massachusetts RIA that the firms say oversees about $5 billion in client assets for executives, business owners and their families.

Five Pallas leaders — Joe Cullen, James Landry, Eric Lalime, Andrew Krout and Athol Cochrane — will become equity partners under the deal. Founding partner and CEO Rich Mullen said the transaction "allows us to welcome more of our colleagues into ownership." The release said the founders and partners will keep running the firm and retain its brand, culture and client experience.

For RIA owners comparing capital partners, the deal keeps founders in control while giving five senior leaders equity. Terms, including price and stake, were not disclosed, so no valuation multiple can be inferred.

A July 24 Form ADV filing shows Pallas reported $4.3 billion in regulatory assets, 28 employees and 4,210 accounts. That works out to roughly $1 million per account and about $150 million in regulatory assets per employee. The firms' $5 billion figure is a client-assets number, a different measure that may also reflect timing.

Pallas was founded in 2019 and has offices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey. The firm offers tax, trust, estate and financial planning for concentrated stock positions, liquidity events, business transitions and multigenerational wealth transfer.

As Private Wealth Daily previously reported, AWP hired Focus veteran Josh Bronfman to lead M&A, a hire that followed a $200 million capital commitment from J.C. Flowers & Co. AWP says it will give Pallas growth capital plus access to its organic growth and M&A capabilities.

The transaction is expected to close later in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
