Who are we?

IEQ Capital is a Registered Investment Advisor seeking to transform traditional wealth management. Our quest is to integrate the Intellectual and Emotional Quotient, driven by a values-oriented culture that fosters connection and collaboration with our clients. We are an independent, predominantly employee-owned company, adhering to the standard to put our clients' interests first. We focus our efforts on helping clients meet their investment objectives without the distractions and limitations that can arise within much larger organizations.

The Role

We are seeking a human Swiss Army knife to join our Inorganic Growth team as a Senior Associate. This role is a mix of sales and marketing support, relationship development and business process management in a high growth environment. IEQ’s Inorganic Growth team is responsible for hiring Wealth Advisors. Key activities for this function include pipeline and data management, research to source and identify suitable teams and businesses, and participating in sales and diligence calls with advisors. This role will be most involved with pipeline management, sourcing research, and assisting our Director of Inorganic Growth with sales cycle execution.

Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the inorganic growth opportunity pipeline through daily collaboration with the Director of Inorganic Growth to ensure opportunities are advancing and reported on accordingly
  • Facilitating the sales process by addressing areas of inquiry, helping to create or manage new materials, and assisting in the mutual diligence process between IEQ and advisors
  • Assistance with setting up and managing home office visits, ensuring a smooth and informative mutual diligence experience
  • Documentation and logging of information gleaned from teams and development of processes to consume and evaluate that information internally
  • Proactive “campaign” data management and tracking of opportunities both outside and within the firm’s Salesforce environment
  • Creation and maintenance of candidate Salesforce records and daily management of status, action items and open item facilitation for each team
  • Facilitation and support of business diligence, and collaboration with key internal partners across Human Capital, Marketing, Leadership Team, Legal, Operations, Investment Research, and Finance functions to help prepare for the arrival of teams
  • Coordination of third-party recruiter partners including relationship development, candidate vetting and process management
  • Development of tools, memoranda, models, reporting and other documentation to improve the overall business process and memorialization of the process

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years+ of wealth management experience or directly related industry experience
  • Dynamic and flexible orientation with ability to pivot and refocus regularly and work in many different ways – data management, reporting, sales and marketing, and relationship development skill sets highly desired
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Salesforce data entry, report generation, and other data management experience preferred
  • Passion for and interest in differentiated investment options
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office suite knowledge and expertise
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to think critically, anticipate issues, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Relationship buildings skills both inside and outside of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume, high-pressure environment
  • “No task is too small” mentality
  • Bachelor’s degree is required

Compensation

The salary range for this role, inclusive of base salary and bonus, is $120,000-$140,000, depending on skills and experience.
