Who are we?

IEQ Capital is a Registered Investment Advisor seeking to transform traditional wealth management. Our quest is to integrate the Intellectual and Emotional Quotient, driven by a values-oriented culture that fosters connection and collaboration with our clients. We are an independent, predominantly employee-owned company, adhering to the standard to put our clients' interests first. We focus our efforts on helping clients meet their investment objectives without the distractions and limitations that can arise within much larger organizations.

The Role

The Team Lead role is designed to centralize managerial responsibilities within a client service team, empowering fellow team members to focus on service and client relationship management and other firm level priorities. The TL is critical to supporting the client-facing team in strategic planning, communication management, and overall team organization. The TL will work in conjunction with the Team Manager to manage the entire coverage team.

Team Leads enhance and manage scaling of individual and teamwide capabilities, with direct reports including team members at the Associate and Senior Associate levels. Team Leads actively train, educate, and engage with junior team members to promote growth and career advancement, specifically on client service and relationship management and investment knowledge.

Team Leads work closely with their client-service teams to manage important elements of day-to-day responsibilities and ensure tasks are prioritized accordingly. • Management and training of junior team members to promote individual and team growth
  • Management of associates and senior associates on the HR side:
    • Approving time off, leading mid-year and year-end reviews, hiring and interviewing new team members
