WealthFeed has added Form 5500 data to its adviser platform. Advisers can search more than 780,000 retirement plans and set alerts when new filings show changes in plan assets, participants or other plan characteristics, PLANADVISER reported Nov. 2.
Advisers can filter by plan size, features, industry and filing date, including plans whose filings arrived in the previous 30 or 90 days. The profiles are built from the filings and track plan assets, participant counts and the people who sign the returns. Each profile carries an opportunity score with an explanation of the factors behind it.
For an adviser building a retirement plan book, a Form 5500 showing a change in assets or participants flags a plan in transition. The plan records sit inside the same system as WealthFeed's existing individual and household prospect data, so an adviser can see a plan sponsor's filing record and household relationship in one view.
