Waterloo Capital, an Austin-based registered investment adviser, announced on Oct. 14 the launch of Everstead, a private wealth and family office brand for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. The brand is based in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood and is led by Founder and Managing Partner Grayson Miller Dunaway, who recently joined Waterloo.

Everstead unites three existing Waterloo businesses under one name rather than adding a new service line: Waterloo Family Office, Waterloo Tax Partners and Waterloo Capital's investment and wealth management platform. The firm describes the combination as one integrated team handling investments, taxes, estate planning and family governance instead of separate advisors for each.

Grayson Miller Dunaway brings nearly 15 years of private wealth experience, according to the announcement. She was previously a managing director at Oxford Financial Group, described in the release as a multi-family office overseeing more than $30 billion, and has held roles at Goldman Sachs and UBS. Her work centers on tax-aware planning, asset location strategy and transitions for business owners. She will also help lead Waterloo's growth in Atlanta.

"Grayson is exactly the kind of leader we built our platform to support," Waterloo Capital CEO John Chatmas said in the announcement.

Waterloo reported $2.3 billion in regulatory assets under management across 7,306 accounts and 64 employees as of Oct. 10, according to FOD records.
