Vistra adds three Yardi modules for real estate debt funds

The modules combine loan administration, covenant tracking and property data in one environment for real estate credit and levered equity funds.

At a glance

  1. The modules are Yardi Debt Manager for loan administration and covenant tracking, Yardi Import Manager for automated data ingestion from external property managers, and Yardi Data Connect for delivery into client data warehouses.
  2. For allocators in semi-liquid real estate debt vehicles, the relevant test is whether loan-level covenant status and ledger balances reach investor reporting on the timetable used for repurchase pricing.
  3. Vistra says the platform captures power capacity, utilisation rates and lease-by-kilowatt economics alongside financial returns for data centre investments, with similar reporting across office, industrial, multifamily, retail and hospitality assets.

Vistra Fund Solutions added three Yardi modules that let it administer real estate debt funds alongside property accounting, according to Institutional Asset Manager.

The modules are Yardi Debt Manager for loan administration and covenant tracking, Yardi Import Manager for automated data ingestion from external property managers, and Yardi Data Connect for delivery into client data warehouses. Vistra says the setup covers real estate credit funds and levered equity strategies in one environment, from the loan ledger through to the investor statement.

For allocators in semi-liquid real estate debt vehicles, the relevant test is whether loan-level covenant status and ledger balances reach investor reporting on the timetable used for repurchase pricing. Vistra's announcement describes a single workflow but does not specify that reporting cadence.

Vistra says the platform captures power capacity, utilisation rates and lease-by-kilowatt economics alongside financial returns for data centre investments, with similar reporting across office, industrial, multifamily, retail and hospitality assets. The firm says it normalises client data and delivers it into internal systems, dashboards and data warehouses, and clients keep ownership of it.

Vistra says it supports 10 of the world's largest real assets managers and has run real estate fund administration on Yardi for more than a decade. The expansion responds to more real estate managers putting capital into debt strategies and asking for consistent data for reporting, analytics and AI applications, the firm said.
