Siris co-founder Frank Baker launches October Capital

The new firm starts with 16 investment professionals and three services deals, one closed and two signed.

Frank Baker, a co-founder of Siris Capital Group, has launched October Capital, a new private equity firm, Emerging Manager Monthly reported on Nov. 4.

Fund size and investment strategy were not disclosed.

As Alternatives previously reported on Oct. 27, October Capital started with 16 investment professionals and three services deals, one closed and two signed.

For fund selectors, the absence of a disclosed fund size or strategy leaves Baker's co-founder role at Siris Capital Group as the due-diligence reference point.
