- The sector recorded $4.1 billion of outflows.
- Blackstone's BCRED paid about $2.13 billion against repurchase requests in Q3, or 49.9% of what shareholders sought, more than the entire non-listed BDC market raised.

Non-listed BDCs raised $1.5 billion in the third quarter, the lowest quarterly total since the fourth quarter of 2020 and an 87% decline, according to Stanger's tally of the market. An estimated $8.2 billion of redemption requests went unfilled. The sector recorded $4.1 billion of outflows.
Blackstone's BCRED paid about $2.13 billion against repurchase requests in Q3, or 49.9% of what shareholders sought, more than the entire non-listed BDC market raised. It was the third straight quarter the fund filled requests above its 5% repurchase cap, after shareholders tendered roughly 10% of shares outstanding.
For an advisor, the number that now governs a client's cash plan is the fill rate, not the 5% cap. A client who submitted a BCRED repurchase request in Q3 got back about half the shares requested; a client in HLEND got 43.7%. A plan that treats a quarterly repurchase window as a full exit is off by roughly half, and the shortfall bites hardest where the position is funding spending or a rebalance.
Unmet redemption requests dwarfed what the funds raised

Two credit funds filled less than half of requests
HPS-advised HLEND accepted 43.7% of Q3 tender requests and paid $603 million, prorating for a third straight quarter. The $603 million implies about $1.38 billion of requests, and the fund left about 31.8 million tendered shares unfilled.
Five nontraded funds filled every Q3 tender request, with requests from about 2% to half of each fund's offer limit, while BCRED, HLEND and a Morgan Stanley BDC prorated. A fund whose requests were roughly 2% of its limit had room to fill everyone.
