Mili, Holistiplan Integration Puts Tax Data in Client Meetings

Advisers get a client's latest tax filing at the first meeting, making tax planning an ongoing part of the relationship.

Financial Advisor Magazine reports that Mili, an AI platform for wealth firms, and Holistiplan, a financial-planning software provider, have announced an integration. The goal is to let advisers bring complete tax-planning data into every client session, not just at tax time. At the first meeting, the adviser can pull up the client's latest tax summary and use Holistiplan's analyses to guide questions. Holistiplan says its platform is used by more than 10,000 firms and reviews tax returns, insurance policies, and estate documents to find planning opportunities and prepare materials for clients.

Why it matters

The firms describe the pact as turning tax advice from a seasonal exercise into a year-round discipline. For RIA operators, the immediate effect is a workflow change: tax data becomes part of the standard meeting prep rather than a once-a-year add-on. That is a modest, practical upgrade, not a structural shift in the wealth-management market.
