Meridiam closes $4.5bn continuation vehicle for 15 North American assets

The vehicle keeps the assets with Meridiam while giving investors in earlier funds an exit, AltAssets reported.

Meridiam has closed a $4.5bn North American infrastructure vehicle that extends its ownership of 15 existing assets and gives liquidity to investors in its earlier funds, AltAssets reported.

The structure is a GP-led continuation: Meridiam keeps the 15 assets, and investors in the earlier funds receive an exit instead of waiting for asset-by-asset sales.
