At a glance

  1. GSIE is the fifth-largest by assets in Goldman’s ETF suite and charges 0.25%.
  2. For advisors, the 0.25% fee buys equal exposure to value, quality, momentum and low-volatility sleeves, so GSIE’s returns should diverge from a plain cap-weighted international index.
  3. The portfolio holds more than 630 stocks across developed international markets, with ASML the largest single position at 2.24%, ahead of Novartis at 1.06% and HSBC at 0.99%.

Goldman Sachs’ ActiveBeta International Equity ETF (GSIE) has taken in roughly $680 million of net inflows so far in 2026, lifting the fund to about $5.93 billion, according to VettaFi data reported by ETF Trends.

GSIE is the fifth-largest by assets in Goldman’s ETF suite and charges 0.25%. It tracks the Stuttgart Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta International Equity index, which equally blends value, quality, momentum and low-volatility sub-indices and reconstitutes and rebalances quarterly. The $680 million equals about 11% of the fund’s current asset base.

For advisors, the 0.25% fee buys equal exposure to value, quality, momentum and low-volatility sleeves, so GSIE’s returns should diverge from a plain cap-weighted international index. ETF Trends says advisors who want non-U.S. exposure may prefer a built-in tilt to owning whatever the cap-weighted market delivers.

The portfolio holds more than 630 stocks across developed international markets, with ASML the largest single position at 2.24%, ahead of Novartis at 1.06% and HSBC at 0.99%. Financials are the heaviest sector at 29.55%, followed by health technology at 8.48% and electronic technology at 7.26%, with core exposure in Japan, the U.K., Canada and Western Europe.

ETF Trends attributes the appetite for international equities to years of domestic growth and the recent dominance of U.S. megacap technology stocks. GSIE was among the suite’s largest growers in June 2025, when Goldman’s total ETF assets briefly passed $50 billion.
