Focus Financial Partners has named Nevis the enterprise AI platform for Focus Partners Wealth and its other business units, with account opening and client onboarding as the first tasks, InvestmentNews reported Oct. 19.
Nevis co-founder and CEO Mark Swan announced partnership in a LinkedIn post, saying every Focus advisor would work from "a single AI operating system, with agents that complete work end-to-end." Focus reports more than $570 billion in collective client assets across 330 locations and 6,300 team members, including about $182 billion in client assets under the Focus Partners Wealth RIA unit, according to InvestmentNews.
Ferri described staged rollout: "The first work will center on account opening, client onboarding, and similar repetitive manual tasks. Over time the platform will absorb even more of the administrative burden that pulls time away from clients, so advisory teams can spend more of their day on advanced planning and relationship building."
Nevis arrives nine months after Focus began rolling out Jump's AI assistant to 800 advisors across SCS Financial and the Focus Partners Wealth network. Focus's January 2026 Jump rollout followed an eight-week, 40-advisor pilot in which participants reported cutting time spent on meeting prep, notes and follow-ups by 70%, according to an internal Focus survey. Jump, which advertises itself as "the AI notetaker for advisors," has begun testing an account opening feature to onboard clients from Schwab and Fidelity — the work Nevis starts with.
Swan's post lists meeting preparation, client presentations, financial plans, meeting notes, personalized emails and uncovering new growth opportunities among Nevis's uses, and Jump's advertised product is the notetaking job. The report does not say how many advisors will have access to Nevis, while Swan's post says every Focus advisor will.
Custodian-supplied AI
Focus Partners Wealth custodies client assets with Schwab and Fidelity, according to its Form ADV filings. In September, Schwab became the first RIA custodian to integrate Claude for Financial Advisors, Anthropic's tool for meeting prep, financial planning and client follow-ups, according to InvestmentNews. Claude for Financial Advisors is available to the more than 16,000 RIAs that custody with Schwab.
Asked how Nevis fits alongside Jump and Claude, Ferri said Focus will assess how its AI tools work together as the Nevis rollout develops.
Nevis, Jump and Claude now overlap in meeting prep, notetaking and account opening. The report gives no cost or staffing targets for the rollout. As this publication has argued, value accrues to whoever owns the connector.
