Gold’s quarter beats its previous best year
Gold ETCs and ETPs gathered more than EUR10 billion, with the acceleration concentrated in August and September as investors responded to a bond market sell-off, rising Treasury yields and a risk-off tone. The prior high-water mark Amundi cites is not a quarter but a full calendar year: EUR7.6 billion in 2022. One quarter has now cleared a full-year record.
