Emerging venture fund filings return to 2022 peak in Q3

A Colibrí study reported by Emerging Manager Monthly found filings roughly back at their 2022 peak level.

Emerging venture fund filings returned to roughly their 2022 peak in the third quarter, according to a Colibrí study reported by Emerging Manager Monthly on Nov. 4.

The study found general partners raising alongside many peers.

For allocators screening first-time and early venture funds, a filing count back near the 2022 peak implies a diligence queue closer to that year's pace than to a thinner one, and a set of newer teams to triage before commitments are made.
