EIF commits €30 million to PureTerra water-tech fund

ImpactAlpha ties the pledge to strained European water supplies.

€30mEIF commitment to PureTerra water-tech fund

The European Investment Fund committed €30 million to PureTerra's water-technology venture fund, ImpactAlpha reported Oct. 27.

The report did not give the fund's size, target, close date or terms.

The €30 million gives PureTerra an EU anchor, but without the target size allocators cannot tell what share of the vehicle EIF represents or how much institutional demand the commitment shows.

ImpactAlpha linked the commitment to strained European water supplies after one of the hottest and driest summers on record.
