CoreWeave brings majority of 22.5MW live at atNorth

The first Danish deployment takes most of DEN01's 30MW outside Copenhagen; network nodes in seven countries follow.

At a glance

  1. DEN01 sits in Ballerup in greater Copenhagen and offers 30MW across 27,730 sqm. atNorth announced the project in 2023 and brought the first phase live in the fourth quarter of 2025 after a 12-month build.
  2. CoreWeave's planned 22.5MW works out to three-quarters of DEN01's 30MW, so a single tenant accounts for most of the campus.
  3. Across Europe, CoreWeave leases capacity at two sites in Sweden, three in Spain, two in the UK, one in Norway and now one in Denmark.

CoreWeave has brought the majority of the 22.5MW of IT capacity it plans to lease at atNorth's DEN01 data center in Copenhagen online, its first deployment in Denmark, Data Center Dynamics reported.

DEN01 sits in Ballerup in greater Copenhagen and offers 30MW across 27,730 sqm. atNorth announced the project in 2023 and brought the first phase live in the fourth quarter of 2025 after a 12-month build. The hall is liquid-cooled at densities of 100kW per rack, and a heat reuse agreement supplies surplus heat to the area's local district heating network.

CoreWeave's planned 22.5MW works out to three-quarters of DEN01's 30MW, so a single tenant accounts for most of the campus. For an allocator underwriting Nordic AI capacity, that ratio is the figure to test against comparable leases in the region, and the district heating connection gives the site an offtake arrangement separate from the compute lease.

A four-continent backbone

Across Europe, CoreWeave leases capacity at two sites in Sweden, three in Spain, two in the UK, one in Norway and now one in Denmark. As of June 2026, CoreWeave said it operated 51 data centers worldwide.

On the network side, CoreWeave said it is extending its global AI backbone with new points of presence in the United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Korea and Japan. Those nodes go live beginning later in the fourth quarter of 2026 and extending to a full loop in mid-2027, taking a network that today spans North America and Europe to four continents. Each point of presence combines multiple 400 gigabit-per-second connections, hardware-based MACsec encryption and redundant paths.

The Danish capacity is largely live now; the network build runs roughly six months longer, with the full loop scheduled for mid-2027.
