Aldrich Wealth has about 45 employees and will become the wealth platform for CohnReznick's existing wealth division, which works with families and small businesses on investment management and insurance. Referral channel

WealthManagement.com reports the deal is part of a broader push toward wealth-and-tax tie-ups, with firms seeking client referrals and a larger share of existing clients' wallets. Aldrich Wealth was founded in 1998 as an affiliate of Aldrich CPAs + Advisors, which dates to 1973, after long-time business clients began hitting liquidity events and grew dissatisfied with the money management options available to them, according to the firm's website.

David Kessler, CohnReznick's CEO, said in a statement that the wealth division will create "an important new avenue for growth and expand the solutions we can bring to clients." Heather Wonderly, Aldrich Wealth's CEO, said joining CohnReznick "gives us the opportunity to build on the highly personal, fiduciary approach our clients value while expanding the resources and capabilities we can bring to individuals, families, business owners, and retirement plan sponsors."

Apax investment and expansion

CohnReznick has been acquisitive in tax and accounting over the past year, adding offices in Houston, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Tampa, Tallahassee and Richmond, after Apax Partners took a minority investment in February 2025. The deal adds a five-state western footprint and a wealth platform. Terms were not disclosed.
