Clearlake Capital launched Clearlake Private Wealth, a platform aimed at financial advisors, RIAs and private investors, and announced an interval fund it expects to make available in Q1 2027.
The fund will pursue LP-led secondaries, GP-led secondaries and co-investments through a single investment, drawing on Pathway Capital Management, a division of Clearlake. Clearlake says co-investment exposure has historically carried no management fee or carry at the underlying GP level.
Advisors will need the fund's own fee and repurchase terms to know whether the co-investment economics survive the wrapper. The fee-free claim applies at the underlying GP level; the fund's own expense structure was not disclosed.
The Clearlake Private Markets Fund is a non-diversified, closed-end interval fund registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and is the platform's first offering. Clearlake, which cites two decades of investing experience, says the strategy is built to diversify across GPs, vintages and strategies and to mitigate the J-Curve.
