The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) added $4.92 billion in net new capital, the majority of the $7.9 billion BlackRock reported in digital-asset flows for the quarter, according to ETF Trends.
The iShares Core Total USD Bond Market ETF (IUSB) took in more than $7 billion, and the iShares MSCI ACWI ex U.S. ETF (ACWX) drew more than $6 billion, according to VettaFi's ETF Database.
IBIT's quarter supports the argument this publication made in September: the tripling case for bitcoin ETFs rests on allocators, not wrappers. The coverage of the call says IBIT pulled in significant institutional allocations.
BlackRock framed the quarter around a divided macro regime, per the same coverage: steady capital deployment into broad-market beta on one side, and allocations pushed into fixed income, real assets and systematic strategies by rate volatility and geopolitical tension on the other.
