AssetMark adds Calamos Aksia and StepStone private equity interval funds

The platform now has six interval funds spanning private credit, real estate, infrastructure and private equity.

At a glance

  1. Advisors can use the funds as standalone holdings or within AssetMark's managed portfolio solutions, including unified managed accounts.
  2. Private markets also reach clients through the firm's goals-based strategies, which the roundup says carry a $250,000 minimum.
  3. AssetMark reported more than $180 billion in assets across its platforms as of June 30, serving more than 10,000 advisors and more than 340,000 households.

AssetMark added the Calamos Aksia Private Equity and Alternatives Fund and the StepStone Private Equity Strategies Fund to its private markets platform, Wealth Solutions Report's Oct. 20 roundup said.

AssetMark's shelf also shows where the binding minimum sits. Our August report on Origin's interval fund highlighted $5,000 wealth-channel minimums; the managed route here runs through the $250,000 goals-based minimum, so a smaller account can reach these funds only as a standalone purchase, if the funds' own minimums allow it, which the roundup does not say.
