Tracksuit exists to help marketers prove their brand building is working. We give teams the data they need to make smarter decisions, convince stakeholders, defend budgets, and track their progress. The brand tracking industry is dominated by 100-page reports, static data and big price-tags. We're doing things differently by being built for the modern marketer: always-on, accessible, and approachable.

We're now tracking more than 1,000 brands across 25 countries globally. With offices in Auckland, Sydney, London and New York City, we're scaling fast with a brilliant team of collaborative and ambitious humans. Our culture is defined by "high care, high performance". We strive to be the best and look after each other while we do it.

Are you our next Senior Engineer?

We’re looking for multiple Senior Full Stack Engineers to join our product engineering teams in Auckland.

You’ll join a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers and designers who value collaboration, learning, and shipping things that matter. Your opinions on product decisions will carry real weight, and you’ll be one of the main contributors to how Tracksuit’s product gets built.

What you’ll work on

We’re building the next era of brand tracking, and our teams form around the biggest problems as we go rather than sitting in fixed lanes. Depending on where you land, you might be:

  • Building AI experiences that help customers go from raw brand data to strategic insight and action

  • Getting Tracksuit data working beyond the dashboard, in the BI tools, data warehouses and AI assistants customers already use

  • Building the decision engines and predictive models behind accurate, trusted survey data

Whatever the focus, you’ll be working on early, high-signal problems with real customers, alongside product and design, and figuring out what “good” looks like in spaces nobody has cracked yet.

We’re an AI-native engineering team

AI isn’t a side project here. It’s how we work every day. Engineers kick off multiple build agents on our own internal agent platform, alongside tools like Claude Code and Cursor, and spend their time where it counts: designing the next feature with product and design, doing technical design, and reviewing what ships. We’re moving quickly towards agents picking up work on their own, with engineers approving at the key gates.

AI runs through the product too, so your team won’t just use AI to build, it also means building for the agentic ecosystems that our customers are already using.

You’ll get the tools and the room to push this further, and to help define what great engineering looks like when agents write much of the code.

You’ll lead projects end to end

Senior engineers at Tracksuit lead projects, not just tickets. You’ll:

  • Own projects from discovery to delivery: shaping the problem with product and design, talking to customers, writing the tech scope or RFC, and breaking it down into work for people and agents

  • Set the technical direction and make the calls on architecture and trade-offs

  • Keep things moving: run the rituals, communicate progress, unblock others, and land it in production

  • Measure the outcome after launch and help decide what comes next

Day to day, you’ll also be:

  • Building and improving features across our TypeScript stack, using containerised and serverless architecture where it makes sense

  • Owning the quality of what ships, whether you or an agent wrote it

  • Contributing to architecture decisions that align with product goals and technical direction

  • Becoming a domain expert in your team’s area and building strong relationships with internal and external customers

  • Mentoring other engineers and sharing what works, including the AI workflows, skills and agents you build

That’s the role, who are you?

  • An experienced full stack engineer with at least 4 years in a similar role

  • Strong in TypeScript, and ideally one other modern language

  • Someone who has led projects: scoping them, getting buy-in, coordinating across engineering, product and design, and seeing them through to launch

  • Excited (and opinionated) about where agentic engineering is heading, and clear-eyed about when not to trust the output

  • Product-minded, wanting to solve complicated problems in a fast-moving business

  • Kind, collaborative and curious, with a growth mindset

  • Ideally, you understand why good branding is critical to a business’s success (and why it’s worth tracking, i.e. why Tracksuit exists!)

We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace - a place where we can each be ourselves and do the best work of our lives. At Tracksuit we consider a unique perspective, diverse experience and a growth mindset to be of greater value than ticking every box on a JD. If you think you have what it takes but don’t have the exact experience we’ve set out, please still get in touch and apply. We’d love to chat!
